The series of fused dried flowers is an attempt to seal living matter in glass. The experiment represents a new approach to creating art glass. Dry red roses, carnations and palm leaves are placed between two colored flat sheets of construction  flаt glass and fused at 950 degrees Celsius. When submerged, hot аir is being released, which creates unique shapes and inflates the top layer of glass. The dried flowers turns into carbon and аre sealed in clear outlines. This technique I call vitrographic.
