Graces of Summer

Description

The work reinterprets the archetypal image of the Three Graces—symbols of beauty, harmony, and abundance—through the language of contemporary design. Surrounded by the fruits of summer, the female figures evoke fertility, vitality, and the natural cycles of life, becoming a metaphor for abundance and humanity’s connection to the world around us.

Executed on glass—an ecological material that simultaneously exists and disappears within space—the composition explores the dematerialization of the object and its transformation into a luminous experience. The neon accents do not merely illuminate the figures; they create an additional visual layer in which the tradition of classical art encounters the possibilities of contemporary technology.

Light becomes the primary medium. It dissolves the boundaries between image, architecture, and atmosphere, creating an ephemeral environment in which the artwork is not simply a decorative element but a living presence. In this way, classical motifs are liberated from their material form and reimagined in a new dimension—between the memory of tradition and the aesthetics of the future.
