The glass triptych “Trinity” is created on the basis of the modern technique of slumping and the Renaissance Venetian technique from the 15th century of mirror casting. The work draws a bridge between the two worlds, the ancient and the modern through opposition.
The triptych depicts the sacred geometry of the symbol of Abundance. The symbol is based on the principle of the golden ratio, on which most works of art in the past were created. This symbol is embossed in a square whose geometry is outside the golden ratio and represents the tendency for pixelization in the 21st century and the squaring of the image in technological modernity and social media.
